DSK approved a core budget of BDT 3681.54 Crore for the fiscal year 2023-2024 covering DSK’s Indomitable Journey on June 24, 2023. This special general meeting on budget was presided over by Honorable Prof. Dr. Nur Mohammad Talukder, President – DSK and coordinated by DSK’s Joint Secretary, Ms. Nazneen Sultana.
Participated in the discussion meeting of the budget session respectively Ms. Saleha Begum – Vice President; Prof. Dr. Taibul Hassan Khan – Vice President; Former President Professor Dr. ABM Abdullah; Professor Mahfuza Khanam; Prof. Dr. A S M Golam Mortuza – Secretary General; Mr. Habib Uddin Ahmed – Treasurer; Mohammed Emdadul Haque FCA; Prof. Md. Anwarul Islam; Ms. Aktari Mamtaz; Ms. Shahina Hossain; Dr. Dibalok Singha – Executive Director & Member Secretary, along with all Executive Committee member, General Body member & Senior Management of DSK.
For the last 34 years, DSK has carried out several development tasks in 18 districts of Bangladesh including Health Care & Non-formal Education; Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH); Microfinance; Humanitarian Response (Relief Rehabilitation), Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) & Climate Change Adaptation (CCA); CBO Strengthening; and Advocacy on people’s rights, access to basic services & Gender.
