Pre-feasibility Study to develop Sanitation and Sewerage Master Plan for Rajshahi City Corporation, Zone-4.

This is a WASH project jointly implemented by DSK in Bangladesh and Ecosan Services Foundation of India supported by Unicef. Under the assignment, the activities are to conduct two types of surveys, such as footprint surveys and household survey. After compiling the data, a feasibility study on the real WASH condition of the project area will be done. The proposed activities are organizing kickoff meeting, secondary data analysis,  preparation of inception report, preparation questionnaire for data collection, recruitment of enumerators in Rajshahi, orientation of enumerators, conduct drone survey by GIS specialist team, data collection from the targeted households, data formatting, data tabulation, data cleaning, data analysis for feasibility study considering the probability of ensuring CWIS (City-wide Inclusive Sanitation) in the light of technical, economic, environmental, legal and social context, preparation draft report, sharing draft report, finalization of feasibility study report and sharing with all stakeholders and policy makers for further step.

Objective

To conduct a pre-feasibility assessment study to determine technical, economic, financial, legal and environmental feasibility to prepare a city-wide inclusive sanitation operational plan for Rajshahi City Zone.
