On June 25, 2022, DSK approved BDT 2631.60 Core budget for the fiscal year 2022- 2023 encompassing “DSK’s Indomitable Journey.” This budget features multiple change-making interventions from DSK’s six (06) thematic areas, which are Health Care & Non-formal Education; Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH); Microfinance; Humanitarian Response (Relief Rehabilitation), Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) & Climate Change Adaptation (CCA); CBO Strengthening; and Advocacy on people’s rights, access to basic services & Gender. Looping flood situation in Bangladesh along with global disruption in supply chain, this budget spotlights on “Employment generation; Entrepreneurship exercise; Scholarship for marginal students; Health facilitation for ultra-poor; Vocational training institute Staff development training; Social awareness campaign; Agro bound project; and Digital products/ services for the fiscal year 2022-2023.
