This project is being implemented  in Atpara upazila of Netrokona district and Jamalpur Sadarupazila of Jamalpur district  with the aim of declaring an open defecation free union, providing communities safe water and bringing positive behavioral change. This project is running from February 2019 to December 2021 with 27 manpower (9 women, 18 men) and with the aim of reaching 2,29,715 population. Bygone period budget of this project is taka 1,35,35,016.  This project is financed by Unicef.

Accomplishments

2020 Fiscal Year

•  225 community groups have been certified as open defecation free (ODF) communities.
• 2089 families mobilized to install sanitary toilets, hand washing devices and tube well on self-help basis.
• 2400 HHs have been going as per the Water Safety Plan (WSP).
• 4239 people received skill development training.
